Everyone’s favourite fitness festival is back with a stellar lineup.

Tracing back to 2011, Firdaus began his Calisthenics journey by committing to working out regularly at a fitness corner near his house. With a great intention to spread the word of Calisthenics training, together with a team of friends, they founded Singapore Calisthenics Academy in 2014. Firdaus has a great deal of experience in coaching as his days of training various individuals began back when he was serving in the Navy as a physical training instructor. Having explored most of Calisthenics training, Firdaus now focuses on teaching and perfecting the art hand balancing. When he teaches his trainees, he always breaks down the movement so that no one will ever have a hard time learning a new skill.

Handbalancing Fundamentals

Balancing on your hands can be challenging without the correct technique, so this class focuses on building the foundation required. We’ll walk you through a range of exercises – from simple things like building wrist strength and flexibility to holding a handstand against the wall – gradually raising the bar to advance your level of hand balancing. The goal is for you to gain not just strength, but also the tips and tricks to both stand and stay on your hands.

Calisthenics 101

Exercise does not need to be very complicated. Using our own bodyweight combined with a few movements, one can easily get a great full body workout. In our Calisthenics 101, we guide you in using your bodyweight through a range of push, pull, core, and leg exercises. This class focuses on helping you build strength, improve your form and perfect your technique, gradually progressing to performing advanced moves.
